On July 7, 2026, a Tuesday Evening, our sister in St. Francis, Joanne Giordano, OFS, went to Heaven.
Joanne's daughter, Dawn, told us: "She was a fantastic and fabulous lady full of fun and love." That was also evident at our Fraternity meetings, she was fun to be with. She was also an excellent Fraternity Minister, a ministry she was elected to in 2022. Unfortunately, Divine Mercy Fraternity was discontinued in 2025 due to lack of enough members to hold another elective chapter. The remaining members joined Elizabeth of Hungary Fraternity (PSL eff. 12/3/2025).
Joanne's image was taken by Nancy Thomas, OFS, formerly a member of Divine Mercy Fraternity. She moved away from Vero Beach, and joined another Fraternity. /fss
